ADVERTISMENT
As some of you may already know, I´ve been to Linz this week because I had some university stuff to do in this wonderful city.
While being in Linz I had the great possibility to stay 4 days at the Star Inn Hotel Linz. The Hotel just opened its doors at the 1.September 2017, so it is completely new.

Location
The hotel is located right at the city centre of Linz in Sterngasse 6. It´s only a 10 minutes walk to the historical main square, where you can find many shops, restaurants and bars. The impressive "Mariendom" is only 200 meters away. The next public transport station called "Taubenmarkt" is also really close. That means that you can get fast to nearly every place in town from the Star Inn Hotel and it´s the perfect base for exploring Linz. It´s also no problem when you are in Linz with your car because the hotel has an underground car park.

Hotel
The hotel is located in a historical building, but some parts of former times are perfectly integrated into the look of the hotel. Some years ago this had been a school, but due to the amazing renovations you can not even guess that it had been a school building before. For example the stairway was maintained and fits great into the hotels style.
When you go into the Star Inn Hotel there is a huge reception area, with some seating accommocations, a coffee machine, a vending machine for drinks, and more. On the first floor you find more seating accommodations and an internet corner for everyone who wants to do some business stuff, sightseeing research or something else. My highlight was definitly the chandelier at the reception.

Rooms
In the Star Inn Hotel Linz you find different room types: double rooms, twin rooms and superior rooms.
I´ve got a big double room, which offered a queen size bed, a large flatscreen TV, a nespresso machine, air condition and much more. You can read more about the room facilities on their website, will link you that later .The arrangement and furnishing is something that I really like, because they used many wooden pieces of furniture which gives the room a cosy atmosphere. So when you step into the room you are already excited to spend some days here. Here are some impressions:

Breakfast
The hotel offers a big breakfast buffett with long opening hours, which I totally like, because I am always annoyed when I am on vacation but have to get up early so that I won´t miss breakfast. I enjoyed this flexibility, because I had to get up earlier some day and was able to have breakfast that soon. There have always been enough seats because not all guests have to go to breakfast at the same time. The breakfast room is big enough and and the buffett offers everything that you need to have a good morning: every drink that you can wish for breakfast (coffee, tea, hot chocolate, different juices, water with lemon, prosecco) and a wide range of different hams and cheeses, also cereals with milk or yogurt and soo much more, as you can see on the pictures.
