Hotel review: Moxy Copenhagen Sydhavnen
*advertisement (sponsored stay/ but that doesn't change anything about my personal opinion)
I already wanted to travel to Copenhagen for a longer time, as I love nordic cities and their flair, so I was super happy that I got invited by Moxy Copenhagen to stay at this beautiful, newly opened hotel. I stayed for 3 nights at the Moxy Sydhavnen Copenhagen and therefore got a good impressions about the amenities, the services, the rooms and everything else that the hotel offers.

The Moxy Sydhavnen is a hotel for young people and for people who are young at heart (just like the receptionist told me). It´s perfectly located to explore Copenhagen (but read more about the location further down). This is the place to stay in Copenhagen for a citytrip but also if you need a hotel for your business trip. So no matter if you visit the city for business or leisure, the hotel offers all amenities that you need. The Moxy has a wonderful modern and unique style, grey colours can be found everywhere.

The bar area
At the bar you can 24/7 order drinks and little snacks, like nachos or flat bread. The snacks get prepared by the staff, so they are always freshly made. The staff is always friendly and the drinks are delicious. You find different seating possiblities, like comfortable sofas, lower chairs with coffee tables, normal chairs with dining tables, tables with space for many people, tables with space for small groups of persons and so on in the bar area of the Moxy Sydhavnen. So everyone can decide where she or he wants to enjoy her/his drinks and will for sure have a great evening.
At some of the tables you also find games like Jenga and "4 wins", books to read and there is also a table football, so you will never get bored here.
Breakfast
In the mornings the bar area is also the breakfast area, all breakfast facilities are stored behind little blinds and get opened in the morning so they don´t disturb the evening atmosphere. At the breakfast buffet there is a big cereal corner with many options, super delicious bread and rolls (my personal breakfast highlight was the amazing bread!), jam, nutella, peanut butter, ham, cheese, spreads, vegetables, boiled eggs, yogurth, coffee, juices and much more. I am sure that everyone can find something for breakfast that she or he likes and won´t go out of the hotel hungry.
The rooms
All of the rooms at the Moxy Copenhagen are designed to make the most out of your stay. The room has a great size, so there is enough space for all of your stuff. The bed was super comfortable and I slept very good. Not only the matress, but also the pillow and the blankets were super soft and cozy. We had a room with a queen size bed, but there are also rooms available with two single beds and family rooms.

A big comfortable chair and a small desk are also part of the room facilities.
Location and public transport
By S-tog: The hotel is located right next to the S-tog station of Sydhavnen. The S-tog is the S-train of Copenhagen, it´s an urban rail service. From Sydhavnen the A and E train lines are departing and arriving.

By bus: Many bus lines are also going to Sydhavnen, for example Nr. 14, 10 and 3A.
From the airport we took the Metro to Norreport station and from there the S-Tog to the hotel. When we travelled back homewards we decided to take the S-tog to the Kobenhaven H (central station) and then the train to the airport of Copenhagen Kastrup (both possibilities took us about 35 minutes, so it was a cheap and fast way to get to the hotel). You can also take a taxi, which won´t be too expensive I think, because the hotel isn´t far away from the airport (about 15 minutes by car I guess). As you can see there are several ways to get to the hotel from the airport.
The area of Sydhavnen is super close to the city center, it only takes about 10 minutes from the Moxy Sydhavnen Copenhagen with the S-tog to the central station of Copenhagen. So you can easily reach all places that you might want to visit.
